Bucks Back Bonus
The Bucks Back Bonus is Dial Direct's way of giving our client tangible recognition for a claims free insurance record. Unique and brand new to short-term insurance in South Africa, this reward system puts cash back into our policy holder's pocket and works as follows:
- If a client has had four years of uninterrupted cover
- No claims were submitted during these four years (except for certain claims - see below)
- Dial Direct will pay back the client's entire first year's premiums or 25% of his/her total premiums.
Unlike similar reward systems in the market, the policy holder will not always lose his/her bonus when claiming. In other words, certain claims will not affect the client's Bucks Back Bonus and money will still be paid out after the four-year period.
The claims that do not affect the Bucks Back Bonus are the following:
- Vehicle theft - fitted with an approved tracking system.
- Fire brigade charges
- Stolen garden furniture
- Theft of guests' property
- Repairable windscreen damage
- Cash stolen from the home
- Loss of documents/stamps/coins
- Theft of domestic employee property
- Goods in transit with a removal company
- Loss of rent
- Fraudulent use of credit cards
- Hole-in-one
- Medical expenses
- Veterinary expenses
Once our client has received a Bucks Back Bonus payment, the cycle will automatically repeat itself for the next four years. A four-year cycle will also start afresh whenever a claim is submitted.
